Fred had been out taking a walk, she needed to clear her head. She was still confused, she had been dead for months and now she was finally getting her life back somehow only to learn that her body had been being used by some blue ceature.
It was nice out, warm and sunny with a cool breeze. Very relaxing. Walking along the sidewalk Fred found herself at the coffee spot. She could smell the fresh coffee brewing, she stepped inside. Looking around it was little crowded, it was lunchtime.
Fred ordered a vanilla chi-tea and ham sandwich on rye, then she made her way across the room, where she sat down at an empty table by the window. Maybe eating something would help her relax a little today.

Xander was still trying to get used to LA, he was a sunnydale boy and wasn't that ready for the hustle and bustle of LA, but he had no choice what with his home town now a crater and in no way bring-backable.
He could see the appeal of the city and knew he'd probably get used to it...eventually. But for now he had no choice but to wander aimlessly. He spotted the entrance to something called the Coffee Spot "Hmm, must be a spot to get coffee" he muttered as he entered.
He ordered a hot chocolate and looked around for a table, he couldn't see any but he did spot a vacant seat near a woman by the window, well there was nowhere else to sit so he figured may as well ask. He walked over and stood by the desk "HI, um...Is it OK if I join you, there's no other chairs available so...is it OK?" he asked, hoping that his eye-patch wouldn't act as a seat resister.

Fred looked up at the brunette man with her sandwich partly in her mouth. When he asked for a seat Fred was complex, she didn't extactly have all her people skills back to their full capasity yet.Mid-bite, Fred looked up at the brunette man. She immidently pulled the sandwich out of her mouth and smiled faintly. He asked if he could sit. Fred felt a little complex, normally, she’d say yes but the whole dead for months and now sharing her body with an maybe-evil ceature changed things, and her people skills slightly.
She glanced around the shop, there wasn’t another place for him to sit and he looked rather nice. Nodding Fred motioned for him to sit down. “Yeah, of course it’s okay.” She said with a smile. “I’m Fred…well actually Winifred, but you can call me Fred everyone does.”

Xander smiled at the woman...who's name he now knew was Fred and sat down. "I'm Xander, well technically it's Alexander but I haven''t been called that since the first day of High school so you can just call me Xander. It's a pleasure to meat you Fred" he said taking a sip of his hot chocolate and smiling.
"So are you from around here?" he asked Fred, figuring that he should be nice to the woman who was letting him sit at her table, not that it was difficult since she was being nice to him.

“It’s very nice to meet you too Xander.” Fred said with smile, before she gave a small nod. “Yep…well actually I’m originally from Texas, but moved here a few years ago. I live at the old Hyperion Hotel with some friends, it’s actually pretty nice.” Fred continued, breaking to take a sip of her vanilla chi-tea. “Are you?” She asked as she set the cup back down on the table with a small friendly smile.

Xander shook his head "No, I'm from Sunnydale, or what's left of it. Though that Hyperion sounds oddly familiar, I don't know why but... ah I'll work it out later" he said, taking a sip of his drink "So tell me about yourself, I mean if it's to personal you can leave some stuff out, but I will probably fill in the blanks on my own accord. I do that sometimes" he said laughing a little,
